Born out of fashion brand Vivendii, who brought the Y2K-punk spirit of Lagos youth to the world, Vivendii Sound is a live experience, music production and sound curation platform, focused on expanding the brand’s transgressive vision.
Co-founder Jimmy Ayeni has DJ’d and hosted some of the most exclusive parties around the world, bringing artists, influencers and creatives together in collaboration with brands such as Diesel, Nike, Adidas, Fenty, Boiler Room and more. While the infamous “VIVENDII SOUND SOUND SOUND” adlib has played at events globally, from London to Lagos, LA, Paris, Copenhagen, Barcelona, and South Africa.
Ayeni has also worked with Gambian artist and former Dazed cover star, and Dazed100 alumni Pa Salieu on stage as his tour DJ and live sound designer. Now, Vivendii Sound are working on the highly anticipated Vivendii Sound Tape album, spotlighting some of the brand’s favourite creative collaborators and the eclectic, avant-garde sounds coming out of Nigeria.
