Co-founded by friends and creatives Kesang Ball and Sam Blenkinsopp, Trippin is a global community of diverse voices, who are shaping the contemporary cultural landscape. An independent platform combining guides, experiences, films, podcasts and the written world, Trippin aims to empower its community to travel more consciously.
Born out of a frustration with the lack of authentic and diverse travel content out there, Trippin started out as a Facebook group where Ball and Blenkinsopp invited friends to trade trusted travel tips. Today, that Facebook group has grown into a community of travellers who see exploring the world as a transformative experience, similar to a psychedelic trip (hence the name).
Championing the voices of global creatives and underground scenes through the eyes of locals, Trippin is a new kind of travel media platform, one where authority lies with the audience as much as the publication. With a diverse roster of contributors from the worlds of music, art, fashion and culture, Trippin features travel tools, local guides to the likes of New Delhi, Beijing, Cape Town or the Cayman Islands, as well as thinkpieces on how to be a more conscious traveller. By connecting cultures across the world, Trippin uncovers stories found at the intersection of communities and social boundaries, encouraging a deeper, more mindful approach to exploring our world – and a way to feel like a local, no matter where you are.
