With over 671 million views, siren eyes is the latest viral “hack” that promises to seduce a man’s soul until he’s simply transfixed. Intriguing, right? Straightforward too – all it involves is slightly raising your eyebrows and narrowing your eyes, then opening your mouth to mimic that face you make right before an orgasm.
OK so there’s clearly some witchy pick-up artistry at work here: Countless tutorials for siren eye make-up show users elongating their eyes into a sultry feline flick, while others feature the likes of Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Rihanna as peak examples of sirenmaxxing. One video with over two million views likens it to “looking like u ate 39393 benadryls”, while another says: “This hypnotising look inspires obsession.”
A seductive switch from the girlbossery of That Girl, siren eyes is synonymous with WitchTok, urging users to channel their inner Lilith – the first wife of Adam who was banished from the Garden of Eden for not obeying him. It essentially boils down to using your feminine wiles to seduce men into thinking that you’re sexy and mysterious.

But the trend has caused some controversy on social media, with some criticising users who claim they’re using siren eyes to “manipulate men”. Others are simply confused: “How TF do I raise my eyebrows and narrow my eyes at the same time??” says one commenter. The trend is also synonymous with the ‘whisper method’, a bizarre type of manifesting where you imagine whispering in the ear of another person to get them to do what you want them to do. While it might not be sigma male grade manipulation, any trend that spouts taglines like, “Get them to chase you after one affirmation”, is a bit suss.
