It has just been announced that Isamaya Ffrench is the new global make-up artist for Christian Louboutin Beauty, the beauty brand from shoe designer Christian Louboutin known for it's sleek and spiked packaging of lipsticks and nail polishes. According to the brand, Louboutin himself handpicked Ffrench, who will be responsible for creating campaign looks for the brand as well as working in product development, for being “understated and dramatic, colourful and lively.”
Taking to Instagram for the reveal, Christian Louboutin Beauty wrote, “A rising star in the world of beauty, Isamaya Ffrench is a highly sought-after make-up artist and creative collaborator. Visionary, make-up genius and true artist, Isamaya’s creativity and extravagance is the perfect match to @LouboutinBeauty.”
In a statement, Ffrench said that she and Louboutin shared a sense of what is important and empowering for women. “He loves drama and humour, he’s passionate, he loves art and authenticity. It makes it easier for me to work with somebody who I feel quite creatively aligned with,” she continues.
With a background in design, the brand believes Ffrench is perfect for the role and has a deep understanding of the core vision of Christian Louboutin Beauty. “The world is going to be amazed at how she brings our beauty collections to life.”
